HOW ARE YOU “TEACHABLE”? part 1 (From the desk of DrD)

Learning is a process where change can gather its fuel.  How we decide to listen and whom we decide to listen to can either bring us empowering transformation or comfortable compliance.  -DrD

From the time we begin as children from age 0-6 or so we are born with the incredible ability to observe, process and internalize mega volumes of information. All this information comes intentionally or unintentionally through the voices we hear, the actions we see, the movements we feel, and the habits we are taught from the people who surround us the most. Some of these things are good and others are not so good but either way it all goes in to be processed by the brain. The information received then settles somewhere within the neural matrix of the young child brain to either express back immediately, store away for another time or it hides away in the far corners especially reserved for those things we don’t care to remember. Regardless of where the information is stored, if it is remembered or not (in its totality) it becomes part of our total consciousness perception.

Let’s first get a grip on what consciousness is:

It could be helpful here to reflect back and try to remember when we where born. We might remember back then we where physically defenseless to survive on our own. Besides our mothers of coarse we are luckily given two inborn strategies of our own to compel our survival. The first is the high pitched robust belly cry to entice someone to feed, change or cuddle with us. The second is the inborn hyperactive curiosity to a certain burning question. This certain question is implanted deep within our mind and soul. It is in our blood. We don’t know where it came from or where it will take us. The question is also safely and strongly compelled by the primal desire to find out the ultimate answer to itself.
So, your probably wondering:
The quest-ion in question is simply:

what do i do?”

Thats right! From the time we are born we are searching for the answer to that one burning question!

Sounds easy enough. Right? Umm. Maybe not? There is an overlooked problem here. The problem with this is that as we grow into adults we begin playing around with smaller versions of this question and never learn how to answer the larger part of this question. Many of us continue to never really know what to do because we are simply never shown how to know what to do.

As children we are typically made with fragile yet resilient active little bodies to better handle the many physical variables in order to better ensure that our search for this answer is a success BEFORE we grow up. We are still never shown how to find the real answer to “what do i do?”. This is likely due to the fact that no one can teach what they don’t know. Think about that one eh? It is even more of a problem for a child when we, their parents, teachers or role models don’t know what to do either and have NO IDEA that we don’t know. Of all the things we know and can teach, how can we teach what we don’t know? We can not.

HOW this has happened is the topic of another day.

HOW this perpetuates is more suitable for today’s conversation.

So now we can move forward with exploring the lost question of “what do i do?”.

The following is an exploration of how ignorance can perpetuate unchecked through the generations.  Also, how the ability to answer the larger part of the inborn question “what do I do?  is effected by a relationship with that ignorance.  The first step is to become aware that we have no idea. But how can we own this awareness if we have no knowledge of its possibility to begin with?  Now for the fun part. Read on.

It begins to perpetuate around the first 6 years when we become removed from the desire to explore for the answer to the question “what do I do?”. We are compelled to explore other things as we are told to “act our age” or “grow up” etc..   Meanwhile,  At the same time we have no idea what those directives mean so we wait for a definition from the people who insight such loose direction and whom also have no idea what that really means.  That is because they have never been properly told what they are supposed to do either.  They are only repeating what has been perpetuated on them. Ignorance is passed on just like this.  It is one example of how we get started down he road to a life well lived in ignorance and complacency all accepted in the name of conventional silent inconvenience.  Could there be something within our modern popular culture that is overlooking the importance of proper examination to this question?

“What do i do?”

Should we consider looking to establish something new for our modern culture other than perpetuating ignorance through lack of awareness?  How about we work toward establishing accountability around being aware of our unconscious as a first step toward building constructive growth habits? I know that is a mouth full as well as a mind full but i dare you to take a bite and chew for a bit.

How can we even begin to open our awareness for something new unless we become aware that we are simply unconscious about something first?  In this case we are examining the inborn question of “what do I do?” as the first aware and unconscious factor needing attention on the path of becoming teachable.

Not “what have I done?” Or “what has been done to me?” Or “what will I do?” Or even “what have I been doing?” Or “what have I been told to do?”

Until we are able to mindfully move toward the aware UNconscious from the UNaware UNconscious we will be left staring and repeating like a spiritual mantra or religious litany one of the many phrases like: “I dont know?”, “I dont care.”, “Whatever”, Do whatever you like honey.”, “Thats Life.” Etc etc, and things like that all to often. The results that follow are neither spiritual or religious.

I do not mean to say there is harm in saying one or all of the previously mentioned statements once in awhile.  However, Those questions can be useful only when it is asked with the desire for inspiring a solution for a problem. After all if a problem is worth bringing up it should be worth solving right?  The big idea would be to move forward through the question toward a solution instead of sitting on the question with no desire leaving the problem unsolved and unexplored.

An example of this difference would look like this :

Whatever. (problem with no desire for solution)
Whatever, can we do? (problem with a desire for solution)

Either way these thoughts will solidify in the brain as a memory.  If the unexplored possibility is repeatedly suppressed enough times it will manifest profoundly and unknowingly as an unconscious habit to be mindfully aloof. You would have no idea. This is what it looks like to be unconscious and unaware aka helpless (but not hopeless).

Being unconscious and unaware leaves us without a chance to learn anything new to grow and change or to grow and improve. Now I can hear some of you saying “I dont need to change” or I dont want to learn anything new.” That is ok.  I don not believe you but that is still fine. But if it really was true you probably wouldn’t have held an interest to read this far!  So how do we get out of this unaware unconscious state?

Feel free to read on carefully:

There is no change without challenge. Without challenging yourself to outwardly change from time to time with new ideas, new habits, and new movements it will conflict with your own inner wisdom of change.  Your inner wisdom works all the time with or without your permission.  It is called autonomic regulation process.  This means it does not need the permission of logic to be effective.  It is beyond logic.  It is innate intelligence.  It is a self regulated process to keep you alive.  It is a gift from God. (Ie; heart beat, digestion, blood flow, breath, well, you get the picture.)

It is change itself that is guided by innate intelligence and monitored by autonomic function that keeps you alive at all cost outside of accidental traumatic death.

For life to thrive, change is necessary. Without change your body will die faster. This is true on all levels. The same immutable truth of change can be applied to all levels of body function, personal habits, consciousness, awareness and thoughts on a daily bases.

DEATHSTYLE vs. LIFESTYLE (understand and grow)

I want to be clear here as to what we mean by death vs. life.  I’m talking not about pure physical death or life but to a more profound understanding of death and life as it measures up to quality and quantity on a moment to moment scale.  Every moment gives us an opportunity to live or die, to grow or stagnate, to listen or ignore.  Now we must learn to apply this broader moment to moment understanding that we have long forgotten or have been taught to ignore toward a new way of thinking.

This understanding could improve our true QUALITY of life that will more likely lead to our true longevity or QUANTITY of life granted we stay safe. Which is in the end what we all hope for ourselves and the ones we love most.

First it should be agreed that no one anywhere can guarantee long life for anybody. However, you can almost bet on the portion of QUALITY based on your willingness to expose any of your hidden potentials and turning them into visible potentials. Now remember quality life requires work and change.  This type of change often leads to quantity of life so we don’t need to worry about that. Stay present. There is no potion available that can hand us longevity though we can enjoy ourselves right now.  We need to prioritize our move from of the state of unaware unconscious in order to deeply enjoy ourselves in every moment.

So how do we get out of this unaware unconscious state?

This first step to liberation from unaware unconscious to the aware unconscious is done through intention by admitting to yourself that you are unaware and unconscious of a better way. By learning to bond once again with the simple question of our heart and soul as: “WHAT DO I DO?”

In this moment you have succeeded by reading this!

THE PROCESS OF HEALING is effective and mostly pleasant when it occurs naturally and in a wholistic manner.

Lets examine these important definitions to help us better understand two important healing phases that are vital to the perspective of wholistic healing and this discussion.

re·stor·a·tive  /riˈstôrətiv/ Adjective
1. Having the ability to restore health, strength, or a feeling of well-being.

trans·for·ma·tion (trnsfr-mshn, -fôr-)n
1. a. The act or an instance of transforming.
The state of being transformed.

2. A marked change, as in appearance or character, usually for the better.

3. Mathematics
a. Replacement of the variables in an algebraic expression by their values in terms of another set of variables.
b. A mapping of one space onto another or onto itself.

4. Genetics
a. The change undergone by an animal cell upon infection by a cancer-causing virus.
b. The alteration of a bacterial cell caused by the transfer of DNA from another bacterial cell, especially a pathogen.

1: of or relating to holism
2: relating to or concerned with wholes or with complete systems rather than with the analysis of, treatment of, or dissection into parts <holistic medicine attempts to treat both the mind and the body> <holistic ecology views humans and the environment as a single system>

Now, With that being said we can move forward in our discussion on healing.

Healing gracefully between restoration and transformation can be both an instant occurrence as much as it is a lifelong process.  More often it is a synergy between the two that get us the best results toward sustainability.

In other words it is like swimming through a rivers current. At times it is necessary to swim with the current and at other times it is more appropriate to swim against the current.  Between the two you can eventually make it to shore one way or the other.

For the best outcomes in life we must do the right thing for the body and mind to work together. We must allow for the wisdom of the natural self regulated healing systems to guide our choices as it was originally intended. Within the ability to see the body and mind as one we find the “body-mind”. We must learn to allow the “body-mind” to work on its own terms and not on the terms of our mind alone. By using the mind alone to make these choices for the body will override the much wiser processes of our body known to Chiropractors and Chiropractic people as innate intelligence.

Innate intelligence is waiting for us to acknowledge it so it can optimally support us.  It always works better for us in the long run when we see healing process from that way.

Many times in the past the healing process has been instantly hijacked by fear when one is given a diagnosis along with a gloomy prognosis.

Decisions are then made by the mind to suppress the feeling (symptom) that brought the attention to the problem in the first place. By suppressing the feeling (symptom) is like reading the last sentence in a book and thinking that you understand the whole context. By doing this you are only asking for problems instead of looking beyond the problems to find the solution.

We will never discover a solution to the problem by trying to find the solution with the same kind of thinking that discovered the problem.

From here it is easy to understand the importance of looking beyond the problem itself if you are truly looking to solve it.

By entraining consciously with our inborn healing abilities through unconscious self regulation everyone can learn how to empower their healing from within. This one idea is the beginning of a real sustainable solution for all of our health matters.

HOW IT USED TO START (a brief history):
What used to be the typical process of sick care begins when one is diagnosed with chronic dis-EASE and one is prone to desperately cater to the immediate priorities of those who made the diagnosis.
In fact this is what is expected and also what is desired by many in our current popular health care crisis culture.  After all, they are the experts and we are desperate for answers! Right?

The truth is that these unsustainable desires to let others manage your outcomes is dangerous.  Especially because these outcomes are generally based on everyone else’s failure.
When we lack involvement in our own healing we will be lead to be as passive as possible on our path to recovery.  This lack of desire to examine our personal accountability of what brought on the circumstance in the first place can only bring more suffering.

Impersonal Desire = False hope = Lack of Knowledge

This unproductive way of thinking is dangerous and is void of any real hope when one is truly wanting to heal.  This choice comes from lack of knowledge that there is something better, more effective and requires the same amount or less effort from us.
Could it be that a simple empowered shift of our perception is all that is required?

Hosea 4: 6 (KJV)
My people perish from a lack of knowledge.

But to what level do we really have control over how we heal once chronic disease has set in?

The answer to this question is discovered between the duration of time that degeneration has been allowed to occur and also within a persons individual capacity to begin to face the painful reality of personal responsibility and then to do something about it.  For some, this is the most difficult step to bring deep healing to life.

The capacity to face our individual reality is the channel through which our personal accountability to heal will empower deep healing into action. Now this true healing process suddenly has permission in our mind to begin to move as it is.

The empowerment then moves like a dance between the functions of restoration and transformation.

EXAMINING THE CHIROPRACTIC ROLE WITHIN HEALING FUNCTION as the dance between Transformation and Restoration.

Often when going to see a chiropractor to get our spines checked we are told to stretch our spines daily to hold the adjustment better.  This is a practice I myself have recommended many times and with great success.  However, because you are reading this, I will be your self appointed virtual Chiropractor.  I am going to take the liberty to recommend that you stretch your mind a bit because we are about to make some adjustments to it.

So get ready and hold on, this will only take a second.

Here we go……..

Testing Perception and increasing awareness are key principles to wellness weather you are talking about the mind or the body or both!

The truth is that beyond what many of you may currently think, it is Chiropractic that has a profound influence on the structure and function of the body.  This is especially obvious to anyone who practices Chiropractic on a regular basis.  (eh, hem fellow DocTORS!)

By restoring function through the transforming of structure it is Chiropractic that can empower what the body IS rather than to control what the body FEELS.

Restorative healing and/or transformational healing are found on may levels when you start to look at things holistically.

For anyone wanting to heal from any kind of malady whether it be emotional, physical or spiritual it must be understood that the process of healing is just that, a process.
Every process has phases that of each their own time and season.  Like a guide or road map that keeps us from getting lost the phases help us to identify where we are in the healing process.  It also helps us to keep ourselves in perspective in order to do the right thing at the right time.

Within each of the phases, transformation or restoration, there is another ever evolving relationship between stability and change that keeps us on our toes as we endeavor to heal.

So in the Macrocosm:

Chiropractic CORRECTS with restorative healing and CONNECTS through transformational healing while balancing perfectly between stability and change.

There is no other healing system on the planet that I know of that allows for this to happen while standing firmly on its own terms.

Whatever process is needed the Chiropractic adjustment is perfect because it PLACES us where we need to be.  In order to perfectly heal we need to unlock our optimal inborn healing power that was present from the time we were in utero. The best part is that this same healing power is still working in our bodies today.

Though much of what we call healthcare today for chronic illness has no regard to how the body heals naturally.

However, most who NEED transformational care are seeking restorative care only because of their lack of knowledge around what transformational healing is. This is important to understand.

When it is our desire to show up for Chiropractic care for whatever reason the mind-body often has its own plans.  After an adjustment these plans are structured without our mindful permission to give us the most effective order to heal.

With perfect timing and in perfect time the adjustment gives us our best of what we NEED to heal daily weather it be restorative healing or transformational healing or something completely NEW!
The more we become empowered about our self healing abilities the more we have tendency to keep showing up to do the right things just like gravity does. Structure influences function and the more often we align that influence we will find that what we want and what the body gives us will eventually line up perfectly… it has to.

Because healing is life and we are all peaceful at heart by the essence of nature. Healing will not occur without this peace.  Life cannot thrive in a body without the essence of peace.  It is more possible for the experience of serenity to become sustainable in a body once the adjustment is given.  It is not ultimately up to doctors to control others capacity to heal.  It never has been. This approach will always fail.

The role of an effective Doctor is the ability to work within a persons individual capacity to want to heal by teaching first and then becoming a guide toward that person’s desire to heal.

It is up to our choices to listen deeply or not at all, to restore or renew, to just wait or align. These choices will simply either support or ignore our internal healing potential.  The obvious outcome will ensue.

One of those supportive choices is Chiropractic.  This is because It works!  And you are worth it!!

NSAIDs and Chiropractic : conventional risk vs. conventional solution

Information on NSAIDS (non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs)

  • The most common conventional first line treatment for most musculoskeletal pain syndromes is nonsteriodal anti-inflammatory drugs. (NSAIDs)
  • Gastrointestinal ulcers can lead to fatal complications such as hemorrhage and perforation.
  • At any given time, the chance of a patient on NSAID therapy having a gastric ulcer is 10% to 20%, a rate 5-10 times greater than non-users.
  • One retrospective study reported that nearly 80% of all ulcer related deaths occurred in patients using an NSAID.
  • One study published in The New England Journal of Medicine estimated that at least 103,000 patients are hospitalized per year in the united stated for serious gastrointestinal complications due to NSAID use for all conditions.
  • At an estimated cost of $15,000 to $20,000 per hospitalization, the annual direct cost of such complications exceed $2 billion. {Wolfe MM, Lochtenstein DR, Singh G: Gastrointestinal toxicity of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. NEJM 340;1888-1999}
  • This study estimated that 16,500 NSAID related deaths occur among patients with rheumatoid arthritus or osteoarthritus every year in the United States.
  • This figure is similar to the annual number of deaths from AIDS and considerably greater than the annual deaths from multiple myeloma, asthma, cervical cancer or Hodgkin’s dx.
  • If deaths from gastrointestinal toxic effects of NSAIDS were tabulated separately in the National Vital Statistics report, these effects would constitute the 15th most common cause of death in the US.
  • Complications from NSAID use do not result only from chronic, long term use.  One meta-analysis found short term NSAID use was actually associated with a higher risk of GI complications than chronic use.
  • Another double blind trial found that 6 of 32 (19%) healthy volunteers developed a gastric ulcer that was visible on endoscopic examination after 1 weeks treatment with naproxen (at a commonly prescribed dose of 500mg twice daily.)  {Simon LS, Lanza FL, Lipski PE et al; Preliminary study of the safety and efficacy of SC-58635, a novel cyclooxygenase 2 inhibitor. Arthritus Rheum 41;1591 1998.}
  • Besides GI complaints, other less common side effects of NSAIDS include hypersensitivity reactions, cardiovascular disease, liver damage, and central nervous system damage.
  • Kidney disease is also infrequent but potentially a serious complication.
  • One study found NSAID use was associated with a 4-fold increase in hospitalization for acute renal failure, a risk that was dose-dependent and occurred especially in the first month of NSAID therapy.
  • Some studies have raised serious questions regarding the appropriateness of using NSAIDs in cases of osteoarthritus.
  • There is no evidence that NSAIDs favorably influence the progression of joint breakdown in OA.
  • Several animal studies and human clinical studies that have actually implicated NSAIDs in the acceleration of joint destruction. {Brandt KD: Should arthritus be treated with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs? Rheum Dis Clin N AM 19-697, 1993}
  • NSAIDs are used effectively for pain relief and anti-inflammatory effects and are generally considered safe.
  • There is NO evidence that they are more effective for long-term treatment than conservative chiropractic care for acute or chronic musculoskeletal disorders.

(above research compiled by Dr. W.J. Lauretti, DC)

Here is some extra credit information for you:

  • NSAIDS block the COX enzymes, COX-1 &COX-2, and block the production of prostaglandins reducing stomac and platelet support while inhibiting blood clotting ability.
  • Depletes nutrients such as Folic Acid. You can add Vit C, Iron, Potassium, Sodium when taking Aspirin.
  • Side effects: Diarrhea and constipation, decreased appetite, rash, dizziness, head aches, drowsiness, fluid retention leading to edema, kidney failure, liver failure, ulcers, prolong bleeding after surgery or injury, ringing in ears.

If you where to ask anyone on the street in america what the most pressing health issue is today most would say without hesitation that there was a HUGE weight problem.(No pun intended)

If you look around to notice it would not take that long to see people are getting fatter and fatter alot earlier in life. Neural & Immune systems everywhere are becoming more stressed than ever as over-weighted postures take their toll on the spine structures. Back troubles abound with no shortage of chronic health issues to plague the hospitals daily. No relief is given and no end in sight for this pandemic problem.

Is there another way? Is there a connection between the over weight pandemic and what goes into our mouth? At what cost does a whole population of people become morbidly overweight? It is at the cost of rising medical bills and higher mortality rates in younger people. The effect of over consuming and under producing due to the inability to work and hold down jobs is also a concern. All of this is because of the rise of reversible and preventable chronic illness.

Each of these costly examples above effect us all even if you dont think you are overweight. We must engage and do our part. Start with ourselves and teach our children what it is to be truly healthy in mind, body and spirit, not just free from illness or symptoms. To teach our children how to empower positive transformation, support what makes them feel good and to reinforce their positive experience. Teach them how to diffuse the focus of what is not so good so there will no longer be a focus on symptoms or illness.

The hard part is we need to do it for ourselves first!! Its not impossible to teach an old dog new tricks (unless the old dog refuses to move or has no legs.) But seriously, with all kidding aside, where do we go today to get some help in this daunting world of old habits that die hard?

First a health care paradigm that has the ability to support the neural systems of the body must be chosen. With out this support unchecked stress can build up every day. This is why some people who only eat right & exercise often still become ill like most others. The neuro-immune functions are still too stressed to heal!! The key to recovery and proper function is an optimally trained neuro-immune system.

Second, a good quality whole food supplement must be taken. Yes, even if you are eating a perfect diet. Unless you live in a rainforest or Walden Woods you are exposed to neural stressors daily. Car exhaust, city air, emotional stress, processed foods, medicines, conventional foods etc. can all be considered stressors to the bodies natural daily functions. A whole food diet full of local organic food & regular chiropractic adjustments is necessary for health. It is also important to include supplements made from whole food concentrates that are a key factor for today’s modern daily health care regimen.

Third, Find a chiropractor who you love and who is also trained in clinical nutrition and whole food concentrates. OR Find a chiropractor who you love and is well connected to the local food distribution of your area. OR Just find a Chiropractor who you Love!!!!

Chiropractic Adjustments Will bring daily stress levels DOWN, Down down!!!!

It is easier for the body to loose weight on its own than it is for our minds to let our body do what it needs to do on its own to loose that weight. (did you get that one?)

It takes time to get healthy. Losing weight is only the beginning.

Health is a quality not a quantity.

Dont play with calories to loose weight it will not make you healthy.

Obesity is one of the top causes of low back stress that can lead to risky and preventable back surgery.

When you decide to get healthy to loose weight health becomes your lifelong effort.

So, just what are the health implications of childhood obesity?

According to the Center for Disease Control, “being overweight or obese increases the risk of many diseases and health conditions, including the following:

  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)
  • Osteoarthritis (a degeneration of cartilage and its underlying bone within a joint)
  • Dyslipidemia (for example, high total cholesterol or high levels of triglycerides)
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Coronary heart disease
  • Stroke
  • Gallbladder disease
  • Sleep apnea and respiratory problems
  • Some cancers (endometrial, breast, and colon)”
These used to be the long term consequences associated with adult obesity. Not any longer. Today we are seeing kids as young as 11 years old with Type 2 Diabetes! And this list doesn’t include the emotional and mental health aspects of obesity. Psychology Today reports, “One study, published in Pediatrics, found that the longer a child is overweight, the more he or she is at risk for depression and other mental health disorders.Read more:

Resolving this epidemic is going to take each and every one of us making better and healthier choices for our families. Having to fight advertising and corporate invasions in our school system it is a tough row to plow, but it is a well worth the investment and a first step in order to start turning the tides. But if this is beyond your present scope, you can start by making some changes at home.

Here are some suggestions:

  • If a weight-loss program is necessary for a particular member of your family, make sure to involve the whole family in adding “healthy choices” so your child doesn’t feel singled out.
  • You can encourage healthy eating by serving more fruits and vegetables and buying fewer sodas and high-calorie, high-fat snack or processed foods
  • Physical activity can also help your child overcome weight issues as well as improve their overall health.
Our children are our future!!

GRATITUDE!! That is what any celebration is all about. Who or what are YOU holding gratitude for at this moment?  Is it a special person, your job, the place where you live, the food that your prepare?  Maybe all of the above?

It is important that every meal time is also filled with gratitude.  Having gratitude around the dinner table is like inviting a guest to your meal.  We first ask the question:  Do I want to eat with this person?  Does this person want to eat with me?

Just as we would weigh in with a human dinner guest we should also take the same approach to our emotions before sitting down to share a meal with others.  Having nasty emotions (especially covert unexpressed ones) inside of us during a meal is like having an unwanted guest sitting across from you staring.  (Just the very idea of this as a mental image is probably at least mildly disturbing to you.)

But, on the other hand, if you could fill yourself with grace and respect for all that you share time with it will enhance your wellness and improve your digestion. To get more nutrients from your meal the idea is to enjoy the whole experience of filling your body with good food by surrounding yourself with love and gratitude.

We need to become responsible for what we are feeling around the table. We then become more accountable for spreading love and nice things through our life.  Inner peace, good food and lovely people make healthy lives.

Its a true practice worth having indeed!

*URGENT*: Front Line Update

For our health many show no concern or have any idea where to begin for improvement.  They are giving up hope that there is better health to experience other than what a lifestyle of medication provides.

There is a better way, it is called Chiropractic Lifestyle.

Many of us, when we fall ill,  first take a pharma pill to get back to how we felt before we became ill.  Too many people are all to often let down by this slippery slope of lies.  We fail to look for the answers that are right in front of us if we have the eyes to see it.

The beginning of the solution and the start of the problem is found on our very own dinner plate.  Over eating, over cooking and under preparing our food has become a health problem to epidemic proportion.

Constantly looking for miracles from outside the body we are missing the opportunity to embrace our inborn healing abilities from inside the body.

But, It is one thing to say you understand a simple truth and it is another thing to actually live a simple truth.

The body will do what it does to keep you alive and there are rules for longevity both in portions of quality and quantity of life.

Many think that fast food, sedentary lifestyle, sugar consumption and processed foods are part of a life well lived as long as you remain happy and positive and ignorant to what inborn intelligence really is.

The problem is that many still  believe they are enjoying their sodas.  They think they are enjoying the Wendys, McDonalds and Dairy Queen.  They think they are enjoying these fried, processed and denatured foods yet in fact their immune systems are dieing from these harmful habits no matter how happy they think they are.  These food products are not food and create responses in the body that do not add to what we can optimally become no matter how much we think this food like garbage is a part of our lifestyle.

“It has been forgotten that the body has a job to do.  It will do it. In time you will add or subtract from your optimal function with what you put in your body for food.”

Making the choice to become all that you ever imagined is yours.  The first and 2 easiest ways to understand the experience of optimal function  is to start with the spine and follow up with the plate.

In other words, get adjusted, eat well and understand that you are already part of a greater plan to thrive alive while you live!
